Youth Citizenship in Cape Town: The role of civil society, the experience of the youth

The event will discuss the role of civil society in promoting youth citizenship in Cape Town and will highlight how young people understand, experience, and possibly re-interpret citizenship in their daily lives. The event includes the official presentation of our fieldwork report on youth citizenship in South Africa on Thursday evening as well as a full-day seminar where young people from various communities across Cape Town will share their views and experiences with us through interactive workshops.
